GUIDED TOURS OF THE EXHIBITION FOR ABI
Matilda: A woman of the past, an icon of the present. Sovereign of a vast territory stretching across Lombardy, the Reggio Emilia Apennines, and the Garfagnana, Matilda was a symbol of political balance—the vital mediator between the Papacy and the Empire. She remains one of the most fascinating and significant figures of Medieval Italy and Europe.
Dedicated to her legacy is the photographic exhibition “Domina Aeterna: Matilda of Tuscany Beyond Her Time”, hosted within the prestigious and historic halls of the Po Museum in Revere. The images captured by photographer and photojournalist Erik Messori guide visitors through the complex and multifaceted world of the “Gran Contessa”, bridging the gap between historical heritage and contemporary vision.
Credem, as a dedicated partner of this exhibition, has enthusiastically supported the initiative, celebrating a true icon of the medieval heritage of Reggio Emilia. As part of this collaboration, special guided tours are scheduled for 17 October 2025, offering the public the exclusive opportunity to explore the exhibition accompanied by Erik Messori himself.
We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to the entire Credem staff and the team at ABI Culture Festival for their exceptional professionalism and sensitivity in organising these guided visits. Their commitment has been instrumental in creating an event that honours both the historical significance of the subject and the artistic value of the documentation.
Online booking is mandatory to join the guided tours.
